Our client is looking to fill a Creative Project Coordinator role as soon as possible. This role is onsite, and will be contract to hire. Start date would be as soon as the interview process is completed.

The Creative Project Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, organizing and executing creative projects from beginning to end including all packaging, merchandising, print and digital media, video, email campaigns, websites and tradeshow coordination. The project scope can vary as creative projects evolve and change from project to project. The Creative Project Coordinator is also responsible for fostering a healthy team dynamic and must be comfortable with using different styles of project management, from directed, team-oriented and self-organizing. 
Specific Responsibilities & Duties: 

• Manage department workflow through online tasks lists 
• Provide leadership and motivation to engage and energize an effective creative team 
• Identify, and quickly remove, roadblocks in order to keep projects running smoothly 
• Provide quality control and direction on a variety of creative projects including assigning tasks and reviewing project tasks with each member 
• Oversee and guide internal and external creative resources 
• Organize and gather collateral for creative projects 
• Coordinate and manage photo and video shoots 
• Manage multiple projects to meet deadlines and ship dates 
• Manage brand guidelines and oversee consistency across design and copy 
• Translate marketing objectives into designs that are clear and compelling while staying within brand guidelines. 
• Assist the creative team in production and design of artwork from inception to completion 
• Communicate with internal and external staff members and/or Customers 
• Review, proof read and give feedback on creative from the team and the suppliers 
• Manage vendors for quotes, print, retail displays and collateral 
• Obtain approval on final artwork from the Marketing Manager and the Revenue Generators or Customer 

Essential Skills: 
• Exceptional organizational skills and very detailed oriented 
• Outstanding time management, able to multi-task to meet deadlines and work well under pressure 
• Creative project management experience is a MUST and well as experience in packaging design 
• Strong understanding of the creative design process 
• Proven experience as a team player and organizational leader 
• Strong sense of professionalism 
• Proactive and able to take initiative to motivate and inspire 
• Ability to think creatively with strong graphic design and typography skills 
• Flexible and adaptable to a rapidly changing, fast-paced business environment 
• Superior verbal and written communications skills 
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite 
• Writing/editing experience a plus 
• Video editing and animation skills a plus 
• Database experience (Epicor, Accpac) is an asset 
• 3D rendering experience (Google Sketch) is an asset 
• Able to speak a second language (French, Spanish) an asset
