Creative Production Traffic Coordinator

A marketing services agency is in need of a Creative Production Traffic Coordinator. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring jobs move efficiently from inception through creative production, effectively tracking and enabling the progress of each stage. This position works with the Sr. Art Director to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget by setting realistic timelines and guides the team toward those goals. The Creative Production Traffic Coordinator monitors and tracks project expenses and requests final billing on all jobs once complete.

This is a contract position.

Responsibilities
· Manage the timeline of assigned projects from request through delivery, ensuring that client and in-house creative production needs are met on time and within budget
· Effectively manage individual projects and communicate timing and staffing needs to the Sr. Art Director
· Budget and monitor costs against assigned projects, reporting to Sr. Art Director and Sr. Producer in weekly meetings
· Provides status report for on-going projects for weekly project meeting
· Create and maintain signage grid
· Ensure accuracy of signage location and orientation
· Ensure accuracy of signage type, materials, and specifications
· Collect and draft all copy and content for review
· Proof, review, and edit all copy and content for accuracy, spelling, and grammar – this position is directly responsible for accurate content
· Manage design reviews and approvals
· Ensure timely approvals on all final artwork among all stakeholders
· Facilitate revisions to creative as necessary
· Works with creative to send work through to print production and double checking / trafficking final proofs

· Manage creative production process with vendors which includes (but is not limited to):
· Pulling proofs
· Matching proofs on all printed materials
· Delivering files/artwork to vendors
· Ensuring accurate production standards, specifications, and sizing
· Negotiating usage rights/buyout for images
· Manage administrative needs
· Track creative expenditures ensuring that dollars spent do not exceed program budgets
· Process vendor invoices


Qualifications and Requirements
· At least 3 years of similar experience in a creative agency
· Availability for key timeframes including weekly internal meetings (in-office hours) and show dates (onsite for show dates)
· Working knowledge of the creative process and general creative agency workflow
· Exercise common sense in review process and raise any discrepancies for review
