Primary responsibilities include driving the development and execution of quality productions. The producer is to be the product owner and is ultimately in charge of ensuring that the project fulfills all the expected goals set forth by the executive, business and creative teams.

Responsible for leading the project(s):

- Coordinate the process and the execution of the project across the Creative Development, Production (program management), Technology, and Business Strategy teams
- Document the scope of work with help from functional leads
- Validate that scope can be completed within timeline and budget
- Develop the project plan and schedule
- Ensure every necessary step to complete project is accounted for in project plan
- Clearly organize and forecast deliverables and dependencies
- Work with program manager to ensure the correct inputs are provided
- Ensure proactive scheduling of all aspects of the production
- Manage the full life cycle of projects from requirements through launch
- Estimate resource needs with help from functional leads
- Manage day-to-day tasks and have in-depth involvement to allow for early identification of potential challenges
- Manage project scope and execute change control when additional requests for features or functionality are made
- Elevate situations that may require Executive intervention
- Ensure on-time project deliverables
- Provide weekly status reports and regular updates to the Manager of Production
- Forecast financial spend for project or family of projects and keep track of spend


Communication of Project Tracking/Status

- Provide inputs for weekly production meeting and status document
- Clearly communicate deadlines to project team members
- Provide weekly status of your project every Friday including overall status and any issues requiring resolution and the planned course of action

Conflict Identification and Resolution:

- Proactively identify any risk or conflicts based upon creative, technology or business factors
- Facilitate negotiation among all parties involved in order to quickly identify issues and reach resolution
- Address issues raised by project team members and make tactical decisions to resolve issue and move project forward
- Responsible for creating and managing project(s) budget(s) and schedule(s):
- Communicate to team members where to bill their time
- Ensure team member time sheets are submitted every week
- Verify and approve time on a weekly basis
- Provide project status including cost-to-date/cost-to-complete to Management every week
- Accountable for delivering project within budget

Responsible for project administration:

- Work with team members to set up necessary meetings
- Facilitate meeting logistics including preparing and distributing a meeting agenda, making sure a conference room/video conference is set up, insuring necessary attendees will be participating and insuring presentation materials are ready and set up
- Takes meeting notes and publishes Conference Reports which include summary of what was discussed, agreements made and next steps
- Follow up with team members to make sure next steps from meeting are clearly communicated and understood

Responsible for managing 3rd party relationships:

- Spearheads vendor selection process
- Manage agency relationships
- Clearly communicate expectations and deliverables to vendor
- Ensure vendor meets project deliverables


Communication:

- Confidently lead, motivate, influence and drive progress
- Work both collaboratively and independently while maintaining a high level of productivity
- Proactively make decisions
- Must be able to work under tight timetables and pressure situations
