A ad agency with pharma client is in search of a talented Creative Copy Writer with Pharmaceutical Ad Agency experience. They are seeking an individual who can develop concepts and copy, creating emotional connections that drive measurable results. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative, energetic, positive, and proactive writer, who strives to help understand business goals to define the best experience and is comfortable writing for all media—including digital, print, mobile, broadcast and social channels.

This is a contract position with the potential to go perm.

Background/Experience

 Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a creative copy writing role in agency with pharmaceutical or medical experience
 Demonstrated ability to develop concepts that can extend across multiple integrated campaigns

Skills Required:
 Demonstrate passion for great, versatile creative copywriting in alignment with a clear understanding of strategic thinking and brand planning
 Ensure messaging distinctively informs and reflects the desired output
 Manage work to strategy, scope, and deadlines with the ability to manage and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
 Proactively help evolve a creative culture that inspires optimistic thinking
 Flexibility, adaptability, and resourcefulness
 Judgment and problem-solving
 Excellent quality control skills and meticulous eye for detail – style/consistency, grammar, scientific accuracy, proof-reading, layout, etc.
 The desire to learn, a willingness to pitch in and be part of a tightly knit team, and to aim for excellence regardless of the task at hand are key skills required

Specific Responsibilities:
 The Creative Copywriter consults with other members of the team to gather information about a product or service to develop original, engaging, best practice copy that aligns with a style and visual expression tailored for the desired final output
 Demonstrate a clear understanding of the principles behind pharmaceutical marketing
 Maintain contact with clients as appropriate and work with account teams to proactively offer and implement new ways to meet client needs through creative copywriting
 Play an active role in presentations to clients or new business presentations
 Facilitate teamwork by encouraging collaboration with art directors and graphic designers whenever possible
 Can work autonomously with support from management as needed
 Continually build understanding and knowledge of clients’ business and competitive environments; apply this information in preparing and presenting strategically focused
