Creative Manager - Digital

Aquent's client is looking for a Creative Manager (Digital) to work at a downtown Pittsburgh Corporate Office. This role will oversee daily operations, design, development and execution of all digital creative. This role will work closely with the Creative Director, and other marketing and cross-functional team members to translate key marketing objectives and strategies into innovative creative that delivers compelling advertising messaging to targeted consumers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Manages creative execution of all digital advertising assets from inception to finished product partnering Project Managers, E-commerce internal and external partners, Merchants, other Creative Team members and Agencies to optimize outputs.
• Oversees design and development of approved creative concepts within campaign and budget inclusive of conceptual design, typography, layout, and color selection that meet established standards.
• Leads team in strategic brainstorming sessions, campaign development and art direction of digital partnering closely with print creative, and copy managers and their teams to ensure concepts integrate and translate within digital media.
• Collaborates with outside agency on creative outside concept development as required
• Assists, selects and/or manages vendors, freelancers, agencies to ensure quality and to achieve business objectives as needed.
• Manages photography selection and rendering direction for digital designs.
• Reviews all final digital creative and ensures accuracy of all art files released.
• Manages and coordinates with internal teams and external resources to ensure that all quality control for links, planned actions are functionality and deployment are timely and accurate.
• Partners with workflow, content and planning and other marketing teams to maintain superior communications regarding project management, efficient workflow and meeting deadlines.
• Supports usage, updating and maintenance of Brand Guidelines relative to digital advertising.
• Ensures digital creative team is assigned projects, informed of project status and proactively communicates any challenge that puts a project at risk.
• Prioritizes and selects appropriate resources for all digital assignments (both internal resources, i.e., designers and external vendors, i.e. content providers, digital developers, photographers)
• Recruit, train, develop, retain and manage digital creative team to ensure effective and efficient operation of materials development and implementation.
• Define roles and responsibilities of all Creative digital personnel in order to consistently produce all levels of creative work.
• Maintain a workflow system that increases work volume and production speed without compromising quality or innovation.
• Manages to the Digital Creative Services operating budget.
• Stays on top of all trends and innovations in retail marketing in order to keep the creative team inspired and in-the-know
• Support photo shoot planning and execution with other members of the team and outside partners.
