JOB TITLE: Creative Lead (retail fashion)
REPORTING TO: Creative Director
LOCATION: London
SALARY: up to £55k + benefits

Our client, a high-street fashion retailer, is looking for a talented Creative Lead to join their team.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on creative with a commercial focus to join a brand with fantastic growth potential. This role is offered as a temp-to-perm placement, paying up to £55k + benefits and located in Central London.

The chosen candidate will be working alongside and reporting into the Creative Director to deliver and extend the brand & creative vision. Working from concept to delivery, Art Directing and mentoring junior designers and artworkers.

The focus of the work will mainly be creative projects for instore and print, but extending into digital for integrated campaigns. Projects will include include:
- Advertising (TV, print, integrated)
- Print collateral such as press packs, look books, marketing coms
- Instore POS, visual merchandising and window design
- Brand & category campaigns
- Art direction on photographic, video and TV shoots
- Digital - some instore signage, integrated campaigns, working alongside ecommerce team
- Commercially focused / results driven – considerations for taste level aesthetic, sound design etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
SKILLS:
- Proven ability to deliver strong creative solutions with a commercial focus / outcome.
- Pro-active attitude is essential - we want someone that at times can working without brief / project guidelines & delivering beyond expectations.
- Client or Stakeholder engagement and influence is a must. We need a creative who can challenge and influence the brand direction at a senior board level – - bringing ideas, inspiration and commercially viable creative thinking to the table.
- Strong visualisation and presentation skills
- Folio must showcase your ability to develop creative concepts – from sketches, visual brainstorming, mood boards etc.

EXPERIENCE:
- Art Direction / Creative Management experience
- Experience of working within a fast-paced fashion retail studio (women’s wear preferable)
- Proven ability to work from creative concept to full 360˚ holistic design execution
- Stakeholder management
- Experience of working with, mentoring and directing Designers
- Experience working within agency and client-side creative studios

- Love of design & fashion retailing
- Ability to influence (with style), building solid relationships with stakeholders, studio teams, suppliers etc.

TECHNICAL:
- Excellent Mac design experience with Adobe CS and print knowledge
- Photographic art direction
- Good understanding of digital design
