Continued growth has lead to a newly created position for a Digital Designer to join a global entity to work within the established design studio which serves to enhance customer communications across print and digital and customers are corporate. There is scope for this position to be part time for the right person.
This is a comparatively senior position the purpose of which is to provide first-rate designs regardless of the media or format.
The Digital Designer will:
› Have exceptional attention to detail and a hunger for creating digital experiences that exceed client expectations.
› Be well versed in all things digital and be committed to staying at the forefront of digital trends
› Create innovative, striking, commanding concepts and then map them so they can be technically executed.
› Provide quality and ongoing improvement of creative designs across print and digital communications.
› Ensure a collaborative approach across national locations- working as one voice, one vision, and acting as a creative and digital mentor to other designers.
› Communicate best practices, guidelines and other processes that support improved customer experience, engagement and sales.
› Drive projects using a broad range of technologies.
› Proactively troubleshoot to find new, functional design solutions to client briefings.
› Develop cross-device design concepts so that one message can be delivered across multiple platforms incorporating print, desktop, tablet, and phone.
› Deliver prompt service, meeting internal and external deadlines.
› Deliver 100% accurate artwork, following style guides, instructions and procedures.
› Five years’ experience working in a creative or digital agency, or corporate digital production team, ideally completing major projects.
› Advanced skills in the Adobe Creative Suite; Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and sound understanding of HTML 5 & CSS development techniques.
› Highly experienced in core web design practices such as wireframing, conceptual design, functional prototyping, UI,UX.
› Depth of experience in branding, user experience and responsive design.
› Experience in creating digital concepts across all areas including mobile/tablet interfaces, with proven ability to recommend and implement best practice solutions.
› Ability to thrive in a fast pace environment in order to meet delivery deadlines.
› Ability to relate design to clients’ goals and business objectives.
