Creative Lead - Digital

Our client operates worldwide, employing approximately 16,000 people with their head office in the UK. They are the largest UK operator in their industry and with a global representation, they are able to touch millions of sports fans around the world.

With a culture that is second to none, stunning offices in the heart of the Sydney CBD, they are currently making an impact on the Australian market.

We are looking for a Lead Visual Designer to lead their already impressive creative team.

What are we looking for?

A strong leader who is a talented designer that loves digital design and above all must be passionate about sports. You have a strong work ethic and would love nothing more than to join a growing creative team that is happy to push the digital boundaries.

Working with your fellow designers, you will be producing anything from landing pages, promotional pages, interactive apps and working on the ever evolving onsite changes to the website. Your background within the creative industry and exposure to TV, Radio, Marketing integrated with digital campaigns will set you apart in the application for this position.

• To lead a team of 4 digital designers both in concept across multiple design projects and team management
• Conceptualising and assisting with the creation of social media campaigns crossing multiple platforms
• Consistently managing the creative output of the brand identity across multiple digital and social platforms, ensuring seamless integration
• Contributing in a hands on capacity as a visual & UX designer across multiple promotional digital campaigns and platforms
• Commercially considering the design output and amending campaigns to meet sales targets of the wider business

• Minimum 4-5 years digital design experience at a senior level
• Previous experience managing a team of creative
• Must have upper management exposure; able to see the top line in decision making and weigh in on larger business decisions and directions
• An excellent understanding of current digital design trends
• Strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills coupled with a good knowledge of motion graphics and Flash
• HTML, CSS skills preferable
• Strong background in creating user centered design coupled with a good understanding of building UX prototypes
• The ability to multi-task
• A true passion and interest in sports
