Creative Lead - 40-45k

My client are a leading, global experiential marketing agency. They create innovative live, mobile and online experiences that motivate audiences and activate brands.

They are currently seeking a Creative Lead to join their growing studio. The creative lead is creative, talented and multi-skilled with previous experience in a brand marketing, advertising, digital, live events or exhibitions environment.

The Creative Lead will work on extremely varied projects to develop solutions that translate a client’s brief into a full brand experience. The creative lead is a senior creative from a large-scale graphics/3d/digital background, who is able to lead a project from initial concept to final delivery. They will work closely with the creative director, senior account director, and all other internal stakeholders, and is positioned as the go-to person in the studio for project requirements. The creative lead manages a project from initial brief to execution, working with and managing a team of graphic, 3d, digital designers and artworkers, both internal and freelance.

Primary focus:

To drive the creative direction of work across all projects.
To protect creative integrity as projects become ‘reality’
To add creative input to new business and pitches
To work closely with account teams as consultants at early stages of the project and to shape the creative brief and client expectations
To work closely with creative teams ensuring a project keeps on track and progresses
Work closely with the Senior Account Director
To present creative to clients at any level and have first hand input to client managing when needed.
Encourage, guide and support the design team working on the project
To help plan and shape the creative approach and resource (with Creative Services Manager & Creative Director)
A creative lead must:

Create ideas and new concepts
Establish themselves as the creative powerhouses in the company
Take ultimate creative responsibility for their projects
Foster a good relationship with the client and confidently present the creative at key stages along the process.
Build close relationships with SAD’s, together they win the clients trust and expand the account.
Strive to (through good resource planning with CSM) work across several projects •
Motivate the most suitable team to deliver a project or task
Stay connected to a project and ramp up/down involvement as needed
Be able to think and articulate in mixed media (graphic+3d, film, digital) and take a wider, pulled back view on the core creative – able to work on any type of project.
Be involved at the briefing stage to ensure an accurate interpretation of the client brief, and suggest any possible adaptations.
Work with the production team to ensure the creative stays strong through to delivery and discuss any alternative approach if budget becomes restrictive.
Have overview of the graphic, 3D, digital and video creative on each project.
Be able to have regular site visit access on specific jobs to enable the best creative solutions are answered and applied.
