Creative Director: temp-to-perm (Global Agency)

As a senior member of the engagement practice leadership team the role holder needs to be financially astute, be a strong people manager, and have exceptional client handling skills.

The Creative Director is accountable for ensuring that all creative output is delivered to the highest standards within budget and to brief.

The role holder needs to understand of our business, positioning and methodology and offer innovative and strategic creative insight to support our clients in meeting their business objectives. They will be responsible for driving new business, responding to RFP’s and pitching the creative thinking within our work.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Strong agency experience working on quality clients on a variety of brand engagement issues.
Communicates findings and recommendations in a clear and compelling manner in written, oral and presentation forms.
Sharing best practices and resources within the engagement practice and across the broader agency.
Excellent understanding of the role of brand in engagement and business growth.
A proven track record of delivering creative solutions that have affected/enabled business change with great results.
The ability to provide clear briefs that motivate and enable staff..
An innovative and challenging thinker not afraid to pushing hard for creative solutions that become leading examples of brand engagement.
A storyteller with the ability to sell ideas and thinking to clients in a compelling way.
A strong collaborator who can build cross team and geography-working relationships internally and externally

Acting as a senior lead client-facing creative.
Ability to understand complex client issues and have gravitas in front of clients.
Ability to see through different types of programs and how brand engagement and creative expression can solve problems

Provides client services and the creative team with strategic direction on existing and new business projects.

Responsible for mentoring and educating the creative team, particularly in ideation creation.
Responsible for the staff appraisals and reviews of team and decisions on promotions (in conjunction with ECD MP and HR).
Partner in assessing strategic and creative deliverables required of a prospective or existing projects.
Collaborates with other engagement staff, as well as program management and creative.
Participates in the senior team meetings when called to do so.
Facilitates internal team meetings as appropriate.

Maintaining a positive attitude and working rapport with the Creative team and wider Engagement employees..

Efficiency and effectiveness:

Having a financial understanding of time and deliverables required for each stage of a program, in order to manage your own time and that of the creative team. Liaising with the Program Management to achieve this..
Using tight insightful briefings, brainstorming and using other techniques to ensure a great and effective creative results.

Business Development:

Partners with Executive Creative Director, Managing Partner UK and Global, Engagement and other engagement team members, and the Creative Team on new business pitches (with the ability to play a key role in pitch presentations).
