Creative Director (Web + Print)

Leads creative strategy development for each assigned line of business. Is self-organized and manages numerous, concurrent projects.
• Reviews, provides input and approves strategy briefs.
• Partners with Brand Strategy and Business Teams to recommend creative testing.
• Identifies and solves marketing problems from a creative standpoint.
• Recommends and directs use of outside creative vendors.
• Leads brainstorming sessions within Brand Marketing as well as other areas of the company.
Experience: 4 year degree specializing in Design, Communications, or similar discipline. 10+ years industry experience as a Creative Director.
Portfolio Review: Develops strategy and directs major advertising campaigns including broadcast, print and Web components. Supervises all aspects of the creative process, including managing full-time, freelance and vendors. Demonstrates ability to consistently remain within budget and deliver within deadline. Overcomes adversity and obstacles.
Industry Knowledge: Direct Mail and web knowledge within the financial industry highly preferred, or Creative Director position within a Fortune 500 or highly recognized ad agency. Quick to identify, address and incorporate trends into strategic development. Trains and mentors members of the creative team. Speaks and manages to industry Best Practices. Comfortably initiates and presents strategic recommendation to VP, CEO levels within any type of organization.
Technical Knowledge: Knows capabilities of today’s most commonly used design (print, web and presentation) software.

This is a two year contract, 40 hours a week.
