Creative Director (80%Print / 20%Digital)

Our Nationally recognized retail Client is seeking a Creative Director:

Must have up to date portfolio -- ideally with strong retail work samples!!!

You will be responsible for all creative operations for their in-house agency guiding and overseeing designers, copywriters, artists, and production staff, as well as working with third parties. Directs and supervises the activities of the creative team to maintain the agency’s standards of creative excellence, timeliness, and profitability, while achieving the clients’ goals.

35% - Lead and direct the development of creative strategy and implementation for the company. Interpret information in project/program briefs to identify the appropriate creative direction for execution by leading creative team brainstorming sessions.

30% - Attends planning meetings and makes presentations to clients to decide the strategic and creative direction of the campaign. Leverage creative expertise to interpret a client's vision and make it a tangible and deliverable product. Leads all pitches for new business development.

20% - Present and effectively communicate how a creative vision will help achieve goals. Leads creative consultations to assure appropriate creative strategies, adequacy/accuracy of input, schedules, budgets, production support, necessary reviews, and client presentations.

10% - Maximize the talents of the creative team where required. Act as a coach, a teacher, mentor, instructor, and a critic all at once to increase competencies and capacity.

5% - Support the Creative Account Director where needed, including planning, developing, and providing budget recommendations, work goals, measurements, and training requirements necessary to provide both profitable and quality service to clients. Also provides detailed information and cost estimates to assure accurate data on which to plan and develop functional objectives and budgets leading to stable and profitable accounts.

5% - Demonstrate the ability to keep up with new creative technologies and analyze new trends and data.
