Creative Director (Copy)

Our client, a creative agency, is looking to bring on a temp to perm Creative Director (Copy) to start at the beginning of May.

Key Responsibilities
- Directing the creative function so that the environment, culture, team, capabilities, tools, processes, expectations, work style and other elements support the creative and strategic goals and brand of the agency.
- Oversees strategy development in collaboration with the planning team and CCO.
· Studies the creative marketplace, assessing where the agency’s work stands against competitors, as well as our clients’ competitors creative work.
· Participating in the development of agency plans and programs by advising, evaluating and assisting in moving initiatives forward and developing the creative team.
· Oversee with the CCO, the creative ideation output of the department for day-to day- assignment and client business.
- Collaborating with CCO and Acct team to ensure agency voice is relevant, updated and is incorporated into decks and client facing documents and social media platforms. general creative department produced work archives and PR.

The CD will also participate in New Business Pitches, which includes:
- Pitch development / strategy and creative
- Contribute to creative and strategy direction of all agency clients
- Collaborate with the CCO and Director of Strategy on ideation
- Writing/presenting superior client presentations
- Develop a “Wall of Inspiration” within the Creative Department

Skills/ Abilities:
- Innovation, trend, promotional, experiential, social media experiences preferred
- High-level creative/strategic thinking skills, with experience in brainstorming, managing and implementing marketing, social media and event programs
- Able to instill inspiration among group
- Demonstrated experience across a wide range of marketing channels including shopper marketing/retail and branding.

Requirements:
- Degree in Communication, Design, Marketing or Advertising College
- 15+ years of agency experience
- Experience working with luxury brands
- Strong understanding of client business needs and how it applies to marketing strategy, objectives and creative deliverables.
- Strong articulation of a creative philosophy and the ability to share that philosophy throughout the organization.
- Proven track record for outstanding concept ideation and award–winning creative
- Proficient in Keynote (and Powerpoint)
