Creative Director, Apparel

Our client, one of the world's largest sportswear manufacturing companies, is looking for a Senior Manager of Creative/Apparel.

They are looking for an integrated designer to start a new position beginning asap, focused 100% on their Apparel division, which accounts for about 25% of overall sales. This person must be able to conceive, create and push to production/archive it away when all is said and done. They are still primarily a 2D shop because they just aren’t moving quickly enough into the 21st century, but the ideal candidate is pushing themselves into 3D and will push them too. There are no direct reports to start, but the marketing department has grown three times its size in the last three years. For the right candidate, this is a whole new department to build with a group of incredibly supportive, excited folks to help wherever they can.

Deliverables include: catalogs, packaging, hangtags, event materials, tradeshow materials, video concepting, corporate communications, internal sales communications, product based marketing collateral, print ads and e-commerce assets. Must be a self-starter and good with tight deadlines. They currently do not have a CD in place, but they are targeting this position as a potential springboard to the CD role in 2014 for the right person.

The position reports to the EVP Global Operations with a dotted line to the Director of US Marketing & E-Commerce.

Salary is $100-115k.
