Creative Director

We are seeking a Creative Director with strong concept and design ability who is able to provide creative leadership in developing multi-channel resources. A team player who can integrate quickly within our studio team and client teams to develop compelling resources through total command of industry leading design software while managing quality output across respective channels. The Creative Director serves as a strategic partner, managing to critical brand standards, guidelines, requirements and compliances. Must be a compelling communicator and presenter, able to work effectively across all levels of the organization to influence direction and outcomes, and must be an engaged member of the studio team.

This position sits mostly on-site in Conshohocken, PA.

Specific Duties:

  • Develop, articulate and present well-organized concepts
  • Understand clients’ strategies/objectives and end users objective
  • Evaluate design projects for adherence to client standards and provide detailed recommendations on compliance to brand and meeting specified objectives
  • Work closely with Content Steward to produce brand’s modular content
  • Collaborate effectively with Account Manager, copywriters, other designers, multimedia specialists, partners/vendors as needed
  • Understand and apply clients’ and style and legal requirements, standards and processes
  • Champion adherence to Aquent quality control processes and standards


Qualifications:
  • 5+ years providing brand communication and art direction
  • Superior design and technical skills for the print space - comfortable working within existing approved templates, guidelines and assets is required - while looking for opportunities to expand guidelines to meet business objectives
  • High-level understanding of building modular content and brand story lines
  • Knowledge and understanding of how to develop designs for multi channel marketing and digital tactics. May include Email, Web/Landing Pages, Digital Banners, iPad, and Mobile
  • Strong portfolio of previously produced work
  • Internal corporate and agency experience is preferred
  • Pharmaceutical advertising and corporate design required
  • Expert level of proficiency and understanding of Adobe Creative Suite programs including but not limited to InDesign, Acrobat, Bridge, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver
  • Excellent command of formats, typography, graphics and layout for print and digital
