Our client, a 25 year old company that designs and manufactures displays, retail environments, tours, exhibits and branded installations for some of the world's leading brands all across North America is looking to add a Graphic Designer to their team. This person would be responsible for leadership of the 2D and 3D Design Teams. The Creative Director is responsible for seeing the big picture and lives to create unexpected experiences for some of the world’s greatest brands. Reporting directly to the President, this leader also works seamlessly with the senior management team.

Responsibilities Include:
 Provide overall creative, conceptual, and cultural leadership for the design team.
 Meet with clients in design firms, architectural firms, retail firms and identity firms to present capabilities and interlace with them to provide strategic assistance through partnerships.
 Recruit, direct, manage, build, replace, nurture and mentor a staff of talented designers.
 Lead the design team in creating functionality in design and work flow to the benefit of the cost effectiveness of our displays, exhibits, tours, and interactive kiosks.
 Work with senior management to bring company identity to the highest perceived level and then with that identity, utilize marketing strategies, tear sheets, web site(s) social media, blogs, internal communications to leverage the opportunities of our experience and skill sets.
 Learn and adapt to the use of popular societal trends and currents that provide modern context to designs, experiential branding solutions, marketing, identity and promotional strategies. Search for and bring to the Team cutting edge design solutions that are green, focused, leading edge, cost effective and functional.
 Direct the production of original design solutions created in 3DMAX software and/or InDesign software, and/or Auto Cad software and Solid Works software that demonstrates the vision. Able to direct the creation of “deliverables” that are compelling to our clients.
 Complete timecards daily. Audit and approve the Design team’s timecards daily and submit to accounting daily.

Minimum Requirements:
 Experience in 3D design including retail displays, trade show exhibits, interpretive design and/or retail store design.
 Able to produce direct solutions in InDesign, 3ds Max or SolidWorks.
 5+ years of experience managing creative design teams with a proven track record of developing outstanding three dimensional creative solutions and design solutions
 Possess exceptional leadership skills and communication skills and mentoring skills.
 Able to work directly with clients and act as an Account Executive/liaison when needed.
 Must be results-driven and adept at problem solving.
 Able to work effectively in a fast paced environment and manage multiple projects at any given time with ever changing priorities.
