Creative Director

Our Fortune 500 client will be seeking a Creative Director to join their in-house creative team! The Creative Director will be responsible for developing original creative design concepts and approaches, overseeing multiple projects through execution, and managing a team of designers under them. The Creative Director will also contribute to the development of digital and marketing strategies, drive the collaborative efforts of the project’s creative, user experience and technology teams, and inspire teammates on all levels to exceed expectations. The Creative Director is also responsible for managing the client relationship for all things related to creative.

The Creative Director is responsible for developing strategic creative design concepts, campaign themes, and brand visualizations that fulfill business objectives across all platforms. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
-Sets creative direction and provides hands-on guidance throughout the project life cycle
-Has knowledge of all creative disciplines including copy and typography and of the roles they play in both conceptual and executional work
-Acts as a strategic and conceptual leader on the Creative Services side on all projects
-Demonstrates cohesive understanding of, and can execute on, the principles that lead to innovative, effective brand communications
-Has a strong understanding branding and brand guidelines
-Helps to set and maintain brand appropriate visual identity and ensures that all creative adheres to it
-Acts as a strong voice both internally and externally who is able to clearly articulate the creative vision for the brand
-Leads by influence and sets professional standard for the team
-Takes personal responsibility for on-time, expertly crafted ideas and deliverables
-Fluency in current graphic design practices, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign
-Ability to create superior, original designs for print
-Strong design style, including creative design solutions within the constraints of industry standards
-Strong conceptual skills
-Solid understanding of client deliverables, and the ability to take responsibility for them
-Ability to work independently on strategic issues with client, capable of managing fairly complex projects
