A full-service advertising agency based in Portland, Oregon, is seeking a seasoned, inspirational executive to lead their creative group. The right person inspires by passion, example, and is humble in the presence of someone else's good idea. The right candidate is experienced in both digital and traditional media, is confident enough to hire people more talented than themselves, embraces strategy as well as execution, and can present work with passion and conviction.
If you have a portfolio demonstrating successful, strategic, unexpected, integrated creative, and at least five years in a creative leadership role, they’d be honored to hear from you.

Required:
Must have collective 10+ years of creative experience with a background in writing, art direction or design, with at least 5 years in an agency environment.

Minimum of 5 years creative leadership experience.

Strong credentials and a positive track record in the development of successful, market-moving creative
ideas.

Exceptional demonstration of integrated campaign development and creative team management.

Eye for detail, design quality and conceptual strength.

In-depth knowledge of wide array of digital channels.

Outstanding strategic instincts.

Strong history of mentoring and, above all, leadership skills.

Dynamic presentation skills with a passion for showcasing ideas to current and prospective clients.

Proven ability to build positive, long-standing relationships with clients, staff and outside vendors.

Ability to provide effective direction in a collaborative work environment.

Ability to think from a client’s business-value and strategic perspective.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills with ability to align creative resources to produce best results.

Lastly, takes great pride in “rolling up the sleeves.” A hands-on contributor, not a figurehead.
Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in design, graphic arts, communications, advertising, marketing, or related field. (Okay, if you’re great we really don’t care about that stuff.)

A track record of building cohesive teams and advancing employees.
