About the Opportunity

Our client is looking for someone who is digital native, but has experience with other marketing channels. Can you can create big ideas, sell them and ensure flawless execution from beginning to end? Do you see digital as a seamless and necessary part of brand strategy not just a tactic? Do you like working on multiple projects with different challenges at any give time? If so this is role might be for you.

The Digital Strategist will work closely with the VP, Digital and the rest of the digital team to execute a variety of programs for Fortune 500 brands. Inclusive of websites, mobile sites, app development, media strategy and content this role requires familiarity and knowledge of the ever-changing digital landscape. In addition to having a clear understanding of how to align a program’s objectives to the client’s business objectives and the consumer’s needs, the Digital Strategist must be able to interpret and drive innovation based on analytics.


Core Responsibilities
• Digital strategy and concept lead; overseeing the creation of programs and the guidance of the execution plan
• Be able to sell ideas internally and externally and present at a high level
• Deep understanding of digital development and production including timelines, budgets and trouble shooting bugs and glitches
• Ability to concept & wireframe responsive design
• Ability to identify, source and manage vendors
• Collaborates with the creative and social teams
• Works closely with account teams to identify new opportunities in the space for clients and potential clients alike.


Qualifications
• 5-7+ years digital concepting and creation
• Comprehensive technical understanding of web development/planning, display advertising, mobile platforms, email marketing, etc.
• A basic understanding of non-digital marketing channels (print, ooh, experiential, etc.) and their seamless intersections with the interactive/digital world.
• Strong understanding of user research, user-centric design principles, and online consumer behavior
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Dynamic problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly lead internal teams, working closely with agency-wide project management and account staff.
• Motivated to implement change in processes to improve our way of doing business.
• Experience working with: HTML, CSS, JQuery, PHP, Javascript, AWS, Ruby, Expression Engine, WordPress.
