Creative Copywriter

Our client is currently seeking a Copywriter/Scriptwriter who is goal-oriented, competitive and a self-motivating individual looking to build a long-term career in an innovative, technology and data driven environment.

This candidate will write and edit compelling sales copy, sales scripts and product description specific to infomercials in both an IVR and Live Agent environment. This role will require you to be imaginative, innovative and flexible with your work as it relates to both internal and external goals. You will need to be a versatile wordsmith, applying your knowledge and experience to analyze, author and present a range of work that shows a well-thought out strategic approach on both a corporate and brand specific level. This will include the establishment, adherence and maintenance of copywriting standards, improving conversion rates through updated content, and maximizing overall efficiency.

The successful candidate will possess the ability to organize and edit for multiple, complex, time-sensitive projects on a daily basis. This person will be expected to continually raise the bar on creative assignments as well as be open and able to act on constructive feedback. Also, he/she will need to have a basic understanding of different marketing approaches and cross-sell promotions; know how to help partners achieve their marketing objectives; and work to drive the business through compelling copy.

Required Skills/Experience:
· More than 2 years of experience writing ad/product/sales copy
· Ability to write persuasive sales copy about retail products
· Researching and understanding product demographic in order to craft targeted copy
· Ability to write sales scripts for voice talents or Live agent
· Ability to coach voice talent to create intended effect from sales script
· Strong peer-review skills – can edit and critique peer scripts and offer constructive feedback/criticism
· Attention to detail
· Analytical skills that include assessing sales scripts for potential improvement
· Leading creative aspect of product meetings
· Researching product history to create dynamic scripts that will outsell competitor
· Ability to write quickly under tight deadlines while keeping creativity in tact
· Ability to write in as semi-noisy production environment without losing focus
· Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
· Strong interest in sales, sales trends and writing product/sales copy
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
