Creative Coordinator-Packaging Design Operations (Part-time)

A Design Studio within a global consumer packaged goods company in NY, NY is looking for a Packaging Design Coordinator to handle administrative/operations and junior level design tasks.

Job Description
• Preparation of documents, correspondence and presentations
• Upload files and set-up briefing materials for off-site freelance designers and production artists
• Work in Filemaker -- entering job codes, freelancer timecard hours, budgets, expenses
• Maintain calendars, schedule and organize meetings with freelancers
• Provide critical coordination support for global category design managers
• Able to go into design files and know Photoshop and Illustrator

Additional Qualifications / Requirements
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience working in the Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Experience and familiarity with Filemaker -- excellent skills in Excel and pulling reports and understanding formulas
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, will need to interact with multiple levels of management and leaders (both internally and externally)
• Excellent follow-up skills
• Self-motivated, pro-active team player a must
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Excel
• Willingness to learn new software as needed
• Experience in prioritizing work and managing expectations with senior leaders
• Experience in supporting multiple managers
• Passion and interest in Design space beneficial
