Our client in San Diego is seeking a Creative Content Development Specialist This person Must live in San Diego, CA  and this is a full time position and reports directly to the Creative Director.

Our client is looking for a highly skilled person to step in as Creative Content Development Specialist and join their dynamic team. The Creative Content Development Specialist is a critical team player that supports all peak performance, life and business strategy content needs for our client. Their creative team owns the content production and management outcomes for all of the client's marketing and events. They are directly responsible for assisting in the creation, organization, management, and distribution of information and projects related to company initiatives.

• Can travel 30-40% of the year

• Stays engaged through 50-60 hours of work per week (some weeks more, some less)

• Can handle a lot of last minute, urgent requests for research, prep and materials

• Can handle a lot of changes in directions and is extremely flexible (may spend a lot of time working on something and then have the direction or priority of the project change)

• Is able to secure, manage & appropriate resources to get things done

• Is able to create strong relationships with internal departments, vendors, contractors and key people from other organizations • Is able to manage budgets & office systems

• Has a strong ability to solve problems creatively and practically

• Is truly spontaneous; we need someone that can think and act on the spot We are looking for adaptability; the person who will best fit this role will be able to work well in an unstructured environment, has the ability to anticipate and embraces change MUSTS

• College degree (4-year Bachelor of Arts or Science) in the humanities; (ideally English, journalism, marketing, business or communications)

• 3-5 years of post-college work experience in a similar field

• Experience writing/editing

• Experience researching/fact verification

• Experience with project management

• Previous experience working with InDesign, Adobe, etc. is a BIG plus, though, not required

• Strong knowledge of the Apple OSX and software, especially software like Keynote is a plus

• Previous experience with Content Development is also ideal

• Must live in the San Diego, CA area
