One of our valued clients in the Energy industry is seeking a Creative & Web Specialist for a 6 month opportunity onsite in Raleigh, NC.

the Creative & Web Specialist will design and produce communications materials across all media with an emphasis on the website redesign (web, mobile, email, print, video) to meet identified project objectives, on schedule, on brand and budget. 75% of the responsibilities will include the following: Visual Design – Concept and design strategic, creative materials to support internal and external communications projects and initiatives. Including but not limited to: user interface, web graphics, email, icon, advertising and other digital deliverables. • Develops concepts based on requirements from communication plans, creative brief, design lead or in consultation with client and/or account manager • Presents design solutions as needed, receives feedback and provides creative solution to obtain approval from client(s) • Executes approved designs working with digital media team, design lead or outside resources as required by the complexity, nature and schedule of the project. • Ensures accuracy, functionality and overall quality on deliverables across all media • Conducts research to stay abreast of current design and functionality trends, incorporating them into work • Reflect corporate values including diversity and safety in planning, messages and final products and images
15% of the role will include the following: Administrative and Technical Tasks - Partner with Traffic Coordinator to understand and execute studio processes that effectively manage workload and ensure timely delivery of the work. • Uses project management system to receive and update status of projects, as well as record daily time • Maintains files in SharePoint, Workamajig and on departmental servers to team standards • Understands and stays abreast of updates for both Macintosh and Windows PC systems and software • Maintains and improves skill level in design software and design techniques and methods • Adheres to and assists with maintenance of the company's corporate identity/brand guidelines • Populates marketing asset management system with new content (images, design templates, etc.) on a continual basis
