Corporate Events Manager

The Trade Show & Events Manager drives Company's brand presence at key industry trade shows and events reinforcing Company's industry leadership and market presence to generate lead opportunities.

Key responsibilities include overseeing the planning, development, design, messaging, and positioning of company at key strategic industry trade shows and events with maximum ROI. Serves as company's key interface regarding trade shows and events.

Job Description:

Overall / Planning
Plan, and execute large marketing events ' trade shows and large-scale customer / channel events
Develop trade show strategy and operational development to meet business goals and streamline execution
Identify, evaluate, and recommend key shows for participation
Provide templates to be used globally ' booth design, artwork, content, signage, etc.
Manage budget
Manage company properties and exhibit house vendor to ensure quality of properties and timely on-site delivery

Pre-Event:
Coordinate logistics of the shows through a cross-divisional team and external vendors
Create messaging for booth / event ' both at the product level and the corporate level ' in coordination with corporate and product marketing teams
Coordinate facility, set-up, and any catering requirements
Drives marketing of event
Development of traffic-driving activities (theatre presentations, games, 'booth bait', etc.)
Develop, with product marketing teams, the appropriate demos
Coordinates equipment (both company and other)
Secure staffing, and manages the participation of all employee staff, speakers, etc.
Selection of theme-appropriate give-aways, etc.

On-site:
Leads cross functional team and vendors to ensure on time delivery
Manages booth property installation
Coordinates on-site schedules
Provide on-site event support and troubleshoots
Coordinates on-site leads management with speedy turnover to relevant parties

Post-Event:
Manage follow-up internal and external communication, participants and leads
Manage trade show leads hand off process and reporting
Conduct post-mortem and budget reconciliation
Coordinate site tare down and booth logistics
Create and communicate post show summary with metrics against objectives


Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent, and 8 plus years experience managing high technology enterprise trade show and events.
Management-level strategic thinking and approach.
Proven experience working with trade show vendors and negotiating contracts.
Operational excellence with previous process improvement experience.
Independent worker with strong organizational and communication skills.
Solution-oriented.
Ability to be flexible and working in a decentralized environment.
Experience leading and motivating cross functional teams.
Excellent understanding of target audiences and key industry drivers.
Strong knowledge of technology products ' software, hardware, and networking expertise a plus.
