Corporate Communications PM

We are seeking an experienced communicator to work on communications for key human resources programs including a new benefits guide, intranet alignment to the guide, communication strategy for the guide and support of a global human resources information system implementation. This position requires strong writing and project management skills and experience using various media to simplify complex material into approachable, easily digestible and measurable communications. The ideal candidate should be a collaborative team player adept at managing professional relationships and influencing without authority.


Primary Responsibilities:

- Works closely with benefits program managers to understand and communicate employee benefits through an annual enrollment guide

- Manages and updates content on employee intranet related to annual enrollment guide

- Develops simplified content on challenging topics like medical benefits, employee stock purchase plan, 401(k), etc.

- Works closely with other employee communicators to develop content for guide

- Support effort to effectively communicate changes regarding a new human resources information system

- Manages multiple communications projects simultaneously

- Manages projects on-time and on-budget, from strategy development to final outcome measurement

- Prepares briefing materials, communication plans and presentations

- Work on a change management plan for benefits communications and other HR related projects


- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism or a related field

- Minimum of 3-5 years of communications experience

- A proven track record of producing high-quality, measurable, effective communications

- Skilled in using various media to deliver high-impact content

- Strong writing and editing skills

- Self-starter; proactive work style with a strong work ethic

- A “can do” person; quick study; able to multitask and solve problems

- Strong project management skills

- Collaborative team player

- Strong analytical skills; able to translate complex information into simple, easy-to-understand language

- Coachable; intrinsically motivated to achieve excellence, continually grow and learn new methods and approaches - Able to work with people at all levels of the organization and influence without authority

- Understands AP Style/ adheres to client writing standards and guidelines

- Able to work well across teams in a matrixed environment

- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook


Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

- Experience employee benefits a plus

- Experience in website design or online user experience is preferred
