Our client is in search for a skilled Corporate Communications Coordinator!

- Video Experience/ shoot and edit
- Wants writing samples

Summary of role

Assist in coordinating the Company’s internal and external communications.

-Duties include working with corporate communications department to coordinate websites, collateral materials, news releases, annual reports, presentations, media and public relations, community relations, crisis planning and social media.

Essential Functions

 Assist with development and maintenance of Company internal and external websites and content.

 Support media relations efforts, including:

 Development of press & media packets.

 Assist with news releases and press clipping archives.

 Interaction with local media.

 Assist with Company crisis plan and training programs.

 Help with coordination and development of newsworthy internal communications across the


 Assist with development of materials for internal departments including:

 HR / college recruits and experienced talent

 Government Affairs

 Corporate Responsibility

 Assist with video/photography assignments.

 Assist with PowerPoint presentations and graphic preparation.

 Maintain departmental photo library.

 Assist in developing community relations program for the Company.

 Support event and tradeshow planning and coordination.

 Assist with development of a corporate social media program.

Job Requirements

 Bachelor’s Degree required. Concentration in communication or journalism desired.

 Must have a minimum of five years of public relations/communications experience; OIL & GAS


 Strong writing skills mandatory.

 Must have videography experience including ability to shoot and edit videos.

 Must have experience developing web content & maintaining graphics and other materials for

internal/external web sites.

 Must have experience implementing a corporate social media program on Facebook and LinkedIn.

 Communications experience in the Oil and gas industry experience preferred.

 Excellent computer skills—Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, content management tools.

 Experience using MAC Book Pro and Final Cut Pro X and Motion 5 a plus.

Working conditions

 Office hours—Monday-Thursday / nine-hour days, Friday / four-hour day

 Minimal travel may be required
