Copywriter (w/ B2B experience)

What you will own:
You will be working closely with Content Marketing, Marketing Communications, Product Marketing, and Creative Agencies and Brand Managers to help execute the content marketing plan as well as develop the blog editorial calendar. You’ll own the management of the corporate blog taking direction from the blog Editor in Chief, and play a major role in the development of blog content and its execution. You will also own the copywriting development process for all long and short content assets from premium ebooks to social media posts and tweets.

Blog Management, Copy Writing & Content Creation:
• Manage the corporate blog and editorial calendar, as well as write/edit compelling blog posts focused on our client’s strategic content pillars—best practices, branding, and thought leadership
• Research, write, edit, and proofread copy for content initiatives in the appropriate stylistic
preferences, voice, tone, and readership level, such as email copy, collateral, websites, white
papers etc.
• Produce, repurpose, and scale compelling content that drives our client’s thought leadership in the
area of Enterprise Event Management as well as lead generation, viewership, and engagement
• Write, produce, and schedule social media posts across our client’s six social media channels to promote other content assets, events, news, and premium offers
• Review and make recommendations regarding fulfillment for paid content programs and campaigns—white papers etc.
• Draft landing page copy as well as supporting email copy to drive demand for content initiatives
• Pitch and place articles/stories for external blogs and trade publications
• Manage production process for ongoing content initiatives, such as a customer eNewsletter etc, as well as production processes for lengthy content projects, such as an eBook.
• Develop and maintain content inventory, including a central repository, and process by which the existing inventory is evaluated and updated
• Identify and herd internal stakeholders— sales, corporate communications, events marketing and creative—as well as external stakeholders—customers, partners, and influencers—to develop collateral/content
• Initiate ideas for fresh, compelling, and creative B2B content and content campaigns

Who you are:
• You possess outstanding writing, editing, proofreading, grammar, spelling and punctuation skills
• You have a clear understanding of “writing voice” and how to shift and leverage “tone” depending upon the context in which you are writing
• You have 2-5 years of experience developing B2B content, especially for corporate blogs, and you’re passionate about it
• You are highly organized and know how to prioritize tasks to ensure content goals and editorial deadlines are met
• You can anticipate and react quickly in a dynamic business environment, leveraging needle-moving opportunities in real-time

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in English, Journalism or Communications
• Writing Portfolio
