Copywriter (vaporizer company)

Client is seeking an experienced candidate for the role of copywriter. This position will be onsite in SF during month of November (at minimum). Could extend through end of year or longer.

This is an exciting opportunity to craft the voice and tone of one of the fasted growing consumer brands. This role provides an incredible opportunity to both build a well-known brand and to create a comprehensive portfolio case study.

Client seeks an individual who is talented with brand language, product messaging, and campaign collaboration. This individual should be able to establish a consistent brand voice across the consumer experience. The copywriter will help:

1. Create a voice and tone for an existing brand, and
2. Use consumer insights to collaborate on product launches and campaigns.
3. Generate copy for the holistic consumer experience

This role will require outside-of- the-box thinking and navigation of a challenging and restrictive landscape, resulting in moving copy and energetic calls to action.

Role will work closely with Client’s Brand Manager and Lead Designer to contribute copy for many consumer touch points, including:

- Internal brand guidelines, style guide, marketing templates
- Packaging
- Website (homepage, product pages)
- Social (Instagram, Facebook, tweets, blurbs, newsletters)
- Email (subject lines, content)
- Sell sheets/ pitch decks
- B2C order experience
- In-store collateral & printed materials
- Advertising campaigns
- Taglines and headlines

This role requires excellent time management skills and a knack for prioritizing, as you will be working in a fast-paced environment against hard deadlines.

Excellent inter-departmental communication is crucial, and you will be expected to be in-office for the majority of role duration. You will be interacting daily with Brand, Creative, Product Development, e-Commerce and additional cross-channel representatives to ensure voice and marketing messages are consistent and align with overall brand strategy.

Key Qualifications
5+ years in creating, writing and publishing marketing content
Strong background in writing for an omni-channel retail shopping experience (online and offline)

Ability to take technical content and make it easily consumable for average consumers

Meticulous writer and editor, with exceptional command of English grammar, spelling and punctuation

Exceptional time management skills and ability to prioritize against hard deadlines

Experience with writing through multiple consumer touch points across both e-commerce and retail
