Copywriter (Medical/Healthcare Experience)

Looking for Copywriters of all experience levels who have are GREAT storytellers for a variety of audiences (healthcare professionals, patients, consumers). MUST HAVE HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE!

Responsibilities:
- Writes copy for assigned products/projects and develops language that is original, compelling, proprietary, and synergistic with art/graphic elements.
- Develops multiple concepts/campaigns for assigned projects in partnership with other internal teams.
- Prepares creative platforms/rationale for promotional concepts as necessary to ensure understanding and acceptance of ideas.
- Defends strengths of existing concepts while remaining open to alternatives and further explorations that may be deemed more effective or appropriate.
- Explores/develops/produces innovative ideas appropriate to the Client’s marketing strategy.
- Coordinates with Account Services and Art Team in identifying and obtaining information needed to carry out assignments.
- Presents creative work and properly prepares for all Client presentations.
- Incorporates and/or explores Client suggestions and directives, resolves questions and concerns, and overcomes objections.
- Makes sound, timely decisions about changes to work in progress.
- Organizes all creative materials to ensure their smooth transition to other departments.
- May provide support coverage for other accounts/projects as determined by supervisor.
- Produce insightful and unique creative work that reflects the brand strategy.
- Must be adept at incorporating comments and changes in a timely and intelligent manner.
- Good knowledge of the assigned brands, indications, therapeutic implications, and competition as well as regularly research trends in the appropriate areas.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in copywriting, specifically in healthcare advertising/marketing or medical writing/editing.
- Professional attitude in interactions with coworkers and Clients; must be team-oriented.
- Good organizational and superior attention to details.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Must be a self-starting, independent and innovative individual capable of looking at old problems in new ways.
- Possess understanding of product lines, their features and benefits, marketing objectives, and the competitive environment in order to contribute significantly to the creative team.
