We are working with an innovative e-commerce company that is reinventing the way consumers learn about, purchase and enjoy health and beauty products. Personal care manufacturers are not creating merchandising experiences which cater to the uniquely differentiated needs of black and latino consumers --- two of America’s fastest growing and extremely culturally influential demographic groups. They do this by designing, developing, and testing products specifically tailored to their community's needs and delivering on the promise of great customer service and an easy, practical shopping experience. They are looking for a SR Copywriter for a 4-6 week assignment, 40 hours a week, to work local remote (on-site Tuesdays and Thursdays), to start ASAP.
-Create compelling marketing material including and not limited to digital marketing such as email campaigns, social media content, print marketing, and packaging design content.
-Work closely with Creative Director, Designers, Brand Marketer Lead and PR to understand brand strategy and voice to create consistency across content.
-Ability to take complex ideas make them digestible for consumers.
-Interest in current beauty/grooming trends.
-Embrace and empower a hip, "cool" voice in copy material.
-4-5 years experience at an advertising agency or in-house writing copy for different brands and can demonstrate the ability to adapt to different voices.
-Comfortable to hit the ground the running without much guidance.
-Strong grasp of language, grammar and familiarity with AP style
-Detail-oriented and strong skill set of copy-editing.
Nice to Haves:
-Beauty or grooming background/experience.
-Knowledge of strategic SEO uses.
