Copywriter II

Our client is seeking a talented, experienced copywriter who is passionate about communicating with our community of travelers. You’ll be responsible for helping craft customer communications, marketing messages, and onsite user experiences.

You’ll be part of the global Creative and Production Solutions (CAPS) team, supporting the Merchandising and Promotions (M&P) division on site initiatives, as well as the Outbound Marketing (OBM) division for email creative. You’ll participate in brainstorming gatherings, project execution, and creative presentations to various business partners and leadership teams. You’ll directly contribute your creative ideas to the larger organization.

General Responsibilities:
• Copy writing for email, on-site user experiences, travel-related articles and content, social media, advertising, and other merchandising or marketing activities. • Work with the global team to ensure consistent messaging across all of our sites.
• Partner with the design team to optimize messaging for a variety of use cases.
• Help create and maintain copy guidelines for our various initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with business partners, global editors, designers, producers, and the UX/technical teams to identify solutions that contribute directly to the company's goals.
• Be a strong advocate for the brand identity and persuade other stakeholders to recognize the value of considered copy and messaging.
• Champion a Test & Learn environment by continually redefining process improvements and ensuring best practices in web and email design.
• Anticipate and prevent problems and roadblocks before they occur.
• For see and investigate the difficulties/challenges of messaging within the constraints of the web and mobile devices.
