Vitamin T has an exciting opportunity for a Freelance Copywriter/ Content Strategist for a client in the South Suburbs.  This will start as a 6-8 week full-time on-site Website Rebuild Project that can potentially lead to a long-term opportunity! The Copy Writer/Content Strategist will be a seasoned, polished writer that is able to flawlessly create and present copy, and inform the overall content strategy. You will work directly with Design and Digital Marketing to make sure all elements of the website are working towards the same goal.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively and persuasively on digital platforms

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; Excellent grammatical and spelling skills
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and lead projects
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Creative, flexible, and innovative team player
  • Proficient on current release of MSWord, and competent in PowerPoint, Keynote, and other software common in a Mac OS environment
  • Work with Digital and Marketing to ensure strategy is adhered to
  • Determine via research what makes products appealing and will change behavior
  • Demonstrate ability to research and provide informed insight
  • Must have detailed knowledge of target audience and competitive set
  • MS Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of both Apple- and Windows-based operating systems
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in related field or equivalent
  • Five to seven years related experience

Responsibilities

  • Help lead the development of architecture, logistics, and site organization in close collaboration with Digital Strategy, Design, and Marketing
  • Demonstrate proven ability in digital copywriting best practices
  • Understand and integrate SEO techniques
  • Ability to create meta titles and meta descriptions
  • Act as support for, and regular partner to Design and Digital
  • Take a devil in the details approach to all creative in final phase before going to client
