This Bilingual Jr. Copywriter opportunity is a long term contract commitment for one of the industries leading fortune-500 retail companies here in the DFW! Our client is looking for a well-rounded professional who can write copy that engages consumers and builds their brands. This individual has the opportunity to build their creative capabilities; help create a best in class website and achieve their category leadership vision!

Did you know that the retail industry is the largest employing industry in the U.S.? As a copywriter you will succeed in utilizing your creative writing skills to entice consumers through a unique voice that also frames this retailer’s brands. You will interact with other team members to play a key role in creative strategy development, in collaboration with the Creative Packaging Director, Sr. Packaging Services Director, and Product Development leaders. Ensure that copy is accurate and complies with regulatory guidelines. Manage copy from ideation to completion. You will be responsible for writing clear, persuasive copy that is on brief and on target for consumer and trade print, digital media, education pieces, blogger outreach and web content. Plan, assign, prioritize and track the execution of multiple projects to meet aggressive deadlines and craft creative briefs. Understand their products and consumers to ensure writing resonates with their target audience and stay current on advertising and media trends. This leading industry retailer is passionate and concentrated on the future, so it is essential to stay up to date with industry trends, branding and voice to be successful in this role!

Minimum Qualifications Required:
· 2+ year’s consumer/retail copywriting experience with an Advertising Agency or a high volume in house Creative Services team.
* Reading and Writing proficiency in Spanish.
· A passion for writing, ideas and standout creative.
· Must be able to write from scratch and transform creative brief selling points into engaging copy.
· The ability to work with limited supervision, complete most projects in 4 or fewer copy rounds.
· Well developed marketing instincts, including the ability to identify key selling points, using multiple sources of input.
· Excellent writing, organization and communication skills.
· BA degree.
· Proficiency in Word, Power Point, and Outlook.
