Copy Writer With Pharma Experience
The Copywriter is capable of producing creative work independently and in partnership with an art director that is judged as high quality by agency management and our clients. The position requires the creative talent, problem-solving ability, and commitment to produce creative work that meets the highest standards in healthcare advertising and communications, as judged by our clients, independent award shows and agency management..

Specifically, the Copywriter has the following responsibilities:

Creativity (50%)
• Developing innovative concepts that are on strategy.
• Establishing a track record of producing work that is well received by our clients.
• Creating final work that is considered above average (7+) by agency management.
• Meeting internal and external deadlines for creative reviews and client reviews.
• Presenting work both internally and to clients in a clear, confident and strategic way.
• Understanding and contributing to the strategic thinking that drives the creative work.
• Ensure that creative presentations to the client meet the highest professional standards.
• Work with account and creative management to grow our business at existing clients

Productivity (30%)
• Maintain an average number of billable hours that are at least in the top half of the creative group.
• Help ensure that deadlines and budgets are met.
• Being recognized as a content expert on his/her assigned accounts.
• Developing copy for the wide range of media and project types that the agency handles within the budgets that the agency has established for our clients.
• Reviewing and editing existing copy based on feedback from agency staff and clients.
• Follow jobs through to completion to ensure that the creative vision for the work is realized.

Leadership (20%)
• Demonstrate creative leadership in the agency through the quality of your work, your commitment to excellent work, your creative and production knowledge, your client-relationship skills and your presentation skills.

Job Reporting
The copywriter reports to the executive creative director, creative director or associate creative director, as determined by agency management.

Job Requirements
The position requires demonstrated creative ability, writing talent, the ability to work collaboratively with account management, good presentation skills, and the ability to work extra hours as needed to ensure client satisfaction.
