My client, an iconic Australian brand, is looking for a copywriter to join the creative team. The main purpose of the role is to provide creative leadership to the copywriting team in support of the overall Creative Services. In this role you will be collaborating with the marketing and brand teams to deliver best practice digital and direct communication. You will be writing all copy to adhere to brief and actively collaborating on suggestions to streamline writing processes.
Key responsibilities
-Create innovative, effective, accurate copy for brands both direct and digital collateral with a focus on innovation and customer response.
-Deliver "best practice" communication of the brands "stories".
-Ensure deadlines are consistently achieved and work is 100% accurate.
-Compile a Copy style guide for use by Copywriters once new branding is implemented.
-Create new and compelling creative approaches to promote offers and products.
-Oversee production/editing of articles and content for iPad magazine and iWine notes.
-Stay abreast of latest innovation and trends in digital and direct copywriting.

Experience
-Copywriting, preferably with Direct Marketing focus and ability to write long copy.
-Experience in creating marketing/advertising concepts.
-Proofreading experience with sub-editing knowledge with evidence of accuracy and consistency in grammar and spelling.
-Customer service sales or communications experience.
-Ability to plan/supervise.
-Ability to create work in progress and forecast analysis reports.
