Growing company seeks Copywriter who will be a key member of the Marketing team and who will be responsible for reviewing a variety of marketing materials to ensure the highest quality deliverables. This is a full-time, onsite role that has the potential to become permanent.

Core Responsibilities
• For all internal/external communications: proofread copy (word-for-word reads as well as fresh reads) and make recommended changes using AP and in-house style guides to produce error-free work.
• For all internal/external communications, review graphic layouts copy standards are implemented correctly and consistently.
• Suggest editorial changes to enhance conversational flow and technical accuracy of document.
• Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of the corporate style guide for grammar and usage as well as the enforcement of its policies with internal staff, partners and vendors.
• Possess a strong understanding of and familiarity with AP Style.
• Serve as a fact checker for all materials, including phone numbers, web links, names, titles and copyright information.
• Interact with staff to clearly understand project deadlines and instructions for processing a document properly.
• Ensure grammatically clean and readable long-form copy as well as effective headlines, taglines, calls-to-action, blog posts, etc.
• Work closely with the Sr. Copy Editor to understand and follow established systems and best practices for content creation, distribution and repurposing.
