Our agency client is looking for a talented writer to join its highly collaborative team of creatives and help define the voice and vision for award-winning content, campaigns, and experiences. Our client is looking for a prolific thinker and contributor - someone who thrives in the concept development and ideation process, and can then successfully translate ideas into creative executions across multiple platforms and medias, from social content to an online experiences and broadcast. This IS NOT a position for those looking to write headlines and 30-second spots, but rather for someone who desires to capture the essence of a brand voice and understands how to effectively engage an audience with compelling content and authentic engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop messaging that is original, innovative and strategically on-target; successfully meet client expectations while driving creative excellence
Actively contribute to concept development, ideation, and campaign strategy
Generate ideas that generate more ideas; inspire the creative process by asking good questions and sparking innovative and non-traditional thinking
Help communicate approach, vision, strategy, and POV in all client communications and new business pitches
Establish and evolve the messaging architecture of high-profile, global brands
Generate content and copy that engages an audience and invites active participation and dialogue
Maintain top-level strategy and perspective while addressing day-to-day demands
Collaborate with all internal teams to successfully drive projects from concept to completion
Contribute to an inspired, innovative, and thriving creative culture - lead by example

Requirements:
Sophisticated and sharp thinker/writer with ability to translate complex messaging across multiple platforms and media types
Ability to juggle multiple projects and thinking across campaigns and brands that vary dramatically in tone, voice, and audience
Ability to articulate ideas and sell work internally and externally
Strong presentation skills - the ability to inspire creative possibility both internally and externally
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Portfolio showcasing concept development and execution (short and long-form content)
3+ years experience in an agency, marketing organization, or entertainment-related environment
Sense of humor, maturity, vision, humility, curiosity, enthusiasm, and inspiration
BA in English or Communications preferred

Details:
This is a contract to hire position, full time, onsite at our client's office in Seattle, WA.
