Long term contract with Fortune 500 cloud computing company in SF!

The Content Marketing Manager manages content marketing initiatives to drive lead gen and brand awareness. The ideal candidate will have a background in writing copy or creating content for a technical audience including email copy, web pages, blog posts, short form videos, diagrams and more. Proven experience with both SEO and analytics is desirable and the candidate should be able to drive a strategy to increase engagement across key audience segments to entice developers of a variety of backgrounds to try out our platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Produce content that drives both “top of funnel” visitor growth as well funnel maturation across the developer lifecycle such as:
Emails & Newsletters
Landing pages
Case studies
Infographics
Blog articles
Short-form videos / screencasts
Creatively repurpose existing content into alternative formats to market through different channels
Build collaborative relationships and leverage subject-matter experts internally and externally – i.e., freelance, thought leaders, product marketing, developer evangelists, product leaders and key community members.
Ensure that all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice for each audience, and optimized for search and social promotion.
Track content performance and optimize accordingly.

REQUIREMENTS:
Demonstrated success in B2B editorial, content marketing, product marketing or copywriting roles
Ability to write for a technical audience is critical
Detail-oriented and deadline-driven, with very strong project management and organizational skills
Ability to take complex ideas or technologies and simplify them for a broader readership
Meticulous attention to detail with outstanding writing, proofreading, fact checking and editing skills
Understanding of SEO techniques and best practices across digital platforms
Solid grasp of content measurement, including experience using Google Analytics
Team player with strong communication skills and a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves work ethic.
Comfortable juggling multiple projects and aggressive deadlines
