Write retail copy for a predominantly print environment
Write and edit accurate, concise, and highly promotional page content for new and existing products, brands and company initiatives
Develop and produce content that reflects company writing standards
Implement best practices within creative team.
Concept different marketing ideas for both visual and verbal elements
Proactively review content and recommend usability improvements (content clarity, brevity, & calls to action,)
Work with creative team and other business stakeholders to address challenges in customer experience and develop solves for displaying and integrating content within company brand initiatives.
Establish collaborative relationships with copy team as well as other marketing teams
Follow established style guides and toolkits to ensure high editorial standards
Check copy for spelling and grammar errors and ensure content meets established editorial, quality and industry standards for web usability and accessibility
Research competitors and keep abreast of market trends
Proficient in InDesign. Photoshop and Illustrator a bonus.
3+ years of experience in a copywriting or content marketing position
Strong desire to work and collaborate with others on development of messaging
Ability to work independently with wide range of business stakeholders
Good organizational skill
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications or a related field.
