Our Client, a major energy company, is looking for a detail-oriented, self-motivated copywriter.

Specifics include:
• Write high-quality, persuasive marketing copy that adheres to brand standards and corporate guidelines and reinforces the company’s market position
• Collaborate with marketing manager, art director, designer, and online specialist to generate client-facing collateral
• Proactively communicate with marketing communications manager and subject matter experts to develop technically accurate, clear, and compelling copy for target audiences
• Manage multiple writing and editing assignments simultaneously
• Write and edit technical as well as creative content
• Demonstrate knowledge of e-marketing trends and SEO to write web content and electronic invitations and technology announcements
• Edit and/or rewrite existing marketing communications content when appropriate to refine the message

Minimum requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, English, or related fields
• At least 3 years of copywriting experience in an agency or corporate MarCom department
• Strong creative, teamwork, and communication skills
• Strong spelling, grammar, punctuation, and editing skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of changing market trends and competitor marketing initiatives/messaging
• Oil and gas experience a plus, but not mandatory
