Our financial services client in San Francisco is needing the help of a Mid level Copywriter or a long term (with potential for full time) in the SF bay area. This position is an onsite 40 hour / week contract position.

Job Description:
Our financial services client in San Francisco is looking for someone who has written and edited copy for Corporate Marketing, or related experience (writing copy for luxury clients). The job role details are below. If interested, please review submittal process below.*

Responsibilities:
· Work directly with Marketing Communications Team to create, proofread and edit content for the web and print, including brochures, letters, flyers, promotions, email templates, presentations, proposals and website pages
· Partner with other departments to translate product offerings and new initiatives into content for various mediums and verify accuracy
· Develop strong understanding of product offerings to discern what’s appropriate to include in each piece of collateral
· Become expert in brand voice and style
· Translate financial, legal or technical terminology into clear, conversational language
· Create intelligent, original and effective copy to drive brand awareness, growth and engagement across multiple channels
· Work closely with Compliance Team to vet and approve final versions
· Partner with designers and external vendors to make content come to life
· Deliver consistent, accurate and high-quality content
· Wear various ‘marketing hats,’ when needed

Desired Skills and Experience:
· Degree in Communications/Public Relations/Advertising
· Minimum 5-7 years of experience in an internal marketing department or agency required
· Financial copywriting experience a plus
· Possess a strong command of grammar, spelling and style
· Eye for design/layout/formatting
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities
· Accountable for meeting tight deadlines and possess a sense of urgency
· Other important characteristics include a strong work ethic, self-starter, strong attention to detail, creative and a team player to ensure positive fit with company culture
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, familiarity with design software and email marketing tools
· Must have strong verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
