One of San Francisco's boutique digital marketing and branding agencies is looking for a copywriter to join their San Francisco team and dive into a variety of projects, working with a number of high-profile national brands representing consumer products, technology, health and education, and community and causes.

Description
We work with all types of clients, from global brands to local start-ups, and need someone who is excited about bringing our clients smart solutions that are both well crafted and strategically on target. The ideal candidate is an intuitive thinker with strong interactive experience and a solid understanding of digital and print advertising, social media and marketing communications. We are looking for someone who can present ideas with passion.
Responsibilities
• Develop concepts and write copy for digital and print advertising, social media, email newsletters, websites, video scripts, and marketing and sales collateral
• Create campaign theme ideas for individual communications that are on strategy and meet client objectives
• Work collaboratively with our design and account management teams
• Incorporate client feedback as appropriate
• Participate in making client presentations
• Assist in the creation of new business pitches
Requirements
• Knowledge of copywriting best practices for web, mobile, social media and print
• Ability to work in teams and independently
• A great work ethic with an ability to manage multiple client projects and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Bachelor’s degree, while not required, is preferred
• 2-5 years experience desirable

About the Position
All work is performed at our office in the Dogpatch neighborhood of San Francisco.
This is a freelance contract (30-40 hours/week) with potential to go temp-perm for the right candidate!

In order to be considered talent MUST:
Have a digital portfolio link with produced digital work
Be currently local to the Bay Area (no relocations will be offered)
Be available to work full time, onsite hours.
