Copywriter

The ideal candidate should be experienced in the digital, print, and social media realms with extensive experience collaborating and brainstorming with a creative team. Someone who is well-versed in AP style and has a strong portfolio that reflects the ability to conceptualize, create, and curate content.

We are looking for someone who has worked in an agency setting and in-house and understands branding as well as selling. They must have experience writing ad copy from beginning to end, including proofing their own work. We are not looking for someone who has experience only as a blogger, only writing in journalism, only crafting social media messages, or only writing video scripts, as that kind of writing differs from being involved in the creative process from beginning to end.


1. Strategy: We need a writer that understands marketing strategy and how to delivery copy that integrates across the web, print collateral, social media and PR strategies.
2. Strong technical writing skills: Technically sound copy is succinct, powerful. The copywriter needs strong technical skills and the ability to proofread their own work.
3. Results driven: Copywriting needs to get results fast. It plays a key role in ROI, such as generating leads or a general audience, and positioning the company as an industry leader. Your portfolio should show that what you’ve worked on has benefited the company in some way, or created a different perspective, or represented their brand in a positive light, or a combination of the above.
