Our client is looking for a number of copywriters to add to their team. This position works with a wide variety of cross-functional teams and directly impacts customer experience, product availability, and customer satisfaction ratings.

Start Date: ASAP - Preferably 8/19
Duration: 1 yr.

The team is comprised of 10 copywriters who work on the content detail pages of the website, focusing on the products tab – updating and creating copy for these products and promotions (tv’s, appliances, mobile phones, etc). This team is one that is relaxed yet professional. They work hard and play hard – always trying to do the best job they can.

Project Description:
Copywriters coordinate and execute web site content updates. They facilitate the quality assurance of promotional and content updates to the site, coordinating with other e-commerce team members and merchants. They leverage and convert brand and store messaging to suit the online channel. Work in and around our tools and templates to determine the best possible shopping experience for customers. They have a voice in the customer experience in their categories making sure that the pages are consistent on brand. They interact with other content teams via role groups and collaborate with business team members for weekly promotional and project activity; as well as other interested parties and third-party content providers.

Responsibilities/Deliverables that the resource will be responsible for:
1) Copywriting and Content Creation
- Conceptualize research, write and edit copy that meets client standards in communicating to internal and external audiences (accuracy, tone, style, brand and business objectives, and grammar).
- Take initiative in generating ideas and suggestions on copy strategy/solutions and other aspects of the user experience. Understand business objectives and customer needs.
- Leverage and convert brand and store messaging to suit the online channel.
- Standardize material and requests from a variety of sources -- including vendors, retail, stores, specs and legal -- into customer-friendly messaging.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Solid working knowledge of current Internet technologies.
- Stay current on the latest trend in direct response and online communications and usability.
- Solid understanding of best web writing practices.
- Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented and collaborative environments.

2) Category Management Responsibility
- Support current processes and proactively identify areas for improvement
- Proactively work with PM partner(s) to identify risks or challenges within the category that may impact work being completed on time and source solutions accordingly

Must Have Skills:
1. Writing experience (preferably in advertising or e-commerce)
2. Some Knowledge of HTML tagging, the candidate can’t be fearful of coding – needs to be able to understand how the text is translated into the code.

Technology Skills Required:
1+ years of experience working with Web Content Management Systems
1+ years Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
1+ years of Working knowledge of HTML or XML, content creation

Soft Skills:
1. Work hard, play hard mentality
2. Strong communication skills
3. Detail oriented
4. Flexible - Able to jump from project to project. Take on different priorities.
