Our client (integrated marketing & advertising agency) is seeking a copywriter. Agency experience is a plus!

We're looking for a writer who can produce bold, strategic, and persuasive messages in all media and come up with smart, creative solutions based on a strategy. We are looking for innovative contributors who keep abreast of current trends and technology, so that their ideas not only work, but are potentially behavior changing. You should be able to participate in and contribute to new business initiatives as well as inspire engaging messaging for existing clients. Your writing should be multi-dimensional and able to be translated across multiple screens and into interactive content. Be prepared to get into the trenches with us and make any job better, from a pitch, to a self-mailer, and any other piece of branded marketing communications.
You must be able to work both individually and in a cross-functional team to come up with original ideas and be good at clear, concise and tenable writing. Grammatical and material accuracy are essential, as well as excellent verbal communication skills.

• Digital experience is a big bonus
• Understands that big ideas can happen, even with the boundaries of a small media tactic
• Lead concepting teams to create big ideas that are dynamic and on strategy
• Be a proficient wordsmith
• Highly collaborative is a plus
• Powerful creative ability in all mediums
• Exude confidence, not ego



Tasks and Responsibilities Include:
• Collaborate with creative team members to determine concept, brand and copy direction.

• An understanding of the goals of every program and the ability to communicate those goals to the team consistently

• Ensure copy tone and style are consistent with brand and style guidelines

• Interact with project teams to understand business objectives and audience demographics

• Translate concepts into effective messages

• Contribute to brainstorming and creative brief development

• Work on multiple projects simultaneously and juggle writing demands

• Possess strong communication skills with a positive attitude

• You can evaluate the work of Copywriters and Associates to ensure that the components of relevance are leveraged appropriately


• To Qualify, You’ll Need:

• Four year degree

• 3-5 years experience

• Creative agency experience desired

• Solid understanding of marketing and advertising principles

• Experience with online and offline media preferred
