Our Client (Redbox) is looking for a Copywriter to join their team on a contract basis until the end of the year (2018)
To qualify for this role, you may not have been submitted to them within the last 2 years.
You must also be able to commute via car to Oakbrook Terrace Monday-Friday.

Senior Copywriter - Contract Position
Redbox is looking for a senior copywriter to join our Corporate Brand team. Not just any writer, but an experienced, strategic creative thinker who’s energized by the idea of building the bold new Redbox brand voice, and working closely with our consumer brands, including Redbox. As part of the new Corporate Brand Team you’ll be a key player in the organization—working with leaders throughout the company to develop communications for a range of media, and guiding strategic conversations with partners both inside and outside the organization. •Lead daily copy development activities that maintain a consistent brand voice through all written materials for branding, promotional/campaign deliverables, product literature, sales materials, trade show/event signage, kiosk/POS materials, trade advertisements, presentations, etc.
•Guide copy development efforts that support creative requests from enterprise-wide clients within Redbox, New Venture, and Line of Business (LOB) organizations
•Strategically position our products while ensuring accuracy in product details
•Build strong working relationships with key constituents while perpetually operationalizing the Redbox, New Venture and LOB brand voices
•Collaborate with designers and partners to create and deliver motivational messaging that meet the organizations branding objectives
•Mentor and develop copywriting talent, making sound judgment calls when the Creative Director (CD) is not available
•Proofread copy to check spelling and grammar on all written marketing communications.
•Work with CD ensure that all written materials adhere to brand voice and positioning standards and guidelines
•Translate CD guidance while keeping messaging development focused, strategic, and timely in accordance with partner expectations
•Look to continually “raise the bar” by maintaining a strong understanding of our products, target audience and competitor activities in market
•Exceptional creative writing and editing skills
•Must work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented in-house design environment
•Ability to work independently within a team environment, and an ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders
•Ability to effectively research and create unique, compelling content/copy for all marketing collateral (print & online)
•Excellent leadership, problem solving, project management/multi-tasking, organizational, and communication skills
•Acutely detailed-oriented, strong fact-checking, and top-notch proofreading skills
•Demonstrate a strong understanding of the principles of creative writing
•Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other mac-based design applications and Office Suite
