Seeking a Copywriter to help nurture customers who subscribe to our design software and services. This is a highly creative and collaborative role in which you will work closely with the Subscription Nurture, Design, and Industry Marketing Teams. This is an on-site role in downtown San Francisco. Only applications currently living in the Bay Area will be considered.​

Responsibilities:

  • Help our customers make the most of their subscription experience by writing nurture emails, newsletters, in-product messaging, and landing pages
  • Work with Adoption Marketing Managers to help review nurture assets and identify benefits that will resonate with our various subscriber personas
  • Write compelling headlines and supporting body copy to accurately represent a featured asset and its benefits
  • Prepare plain text and localization files, and other documentation as needed, to support digital best practices and the production process
  • Assist with the review and development of on-boarding communications and other digital experiences as necessary
  • Learn and work within our editorial and brand guidelines
  • Be prepared to participate in team content strategy, copy development, and brainstorming working sessions

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • 1-3 years of agency experience (or equivalent) - MUST have SOME professional experience working as a copywriter for a business/company/agency
  • B2B experience is essential
  • Experience writing nurture communications for a software company preferred
  • Ability to translate complex ideas or messaging in to succinct, benefit-driven short-form copy (i.e., compelling headlines, sub-headlines, supporting body copy, CTAs)
  • Experience writing with a global audience in mind
  • Exceptional communication skills over email, on the phone, and in person
  • Expert understanding of writing mechanics and English grammar
  • Familiarity with trends and styles in all aspects of writing for the internet
  • Familiarity with nurturing customers across channels (social, email, web, etc.)
  • English, Communications, Journalism or similar writing-related degree
