For this assignment, we are looking for someone who’s equal parts copywriter and project manager who can help the client's Ads Marketing team take written communications with advertisers to the next level. This job requires excellent written and oral communication skills, passion for words that spark actions, and the ability to be both a clever, creative writer and a collaborative project manager.  You’ll work cross-functionally with marketing partners and sales teams to develop save-the-dates, invitations, and microsites inviting influencers to major events. You’ll edit day-to-day social copy and drive innovative social campaigns around industry and cultural events. You’ll work with creative agencies to design your copy into beautiful, engaging posts and emails that make people want to take action and participate.  You’re comfortable managing multiple stakeholders, you’re great at taking feedback (both in person and editorially), and you’re able to run with a project with minimal direction.

Minimum Qualifications:
-BA/BS degree in or related to writing and communications.
-Demonstrated ability to write both long and short-form communications, from Tweets to email newsletters to op-eds and speeches by executives.
-Demonstrated ability to manage a project and work cross-functionally with internal and external (e.g, agency) teams.
-4-6 Years experience in related role


Nice To Have:
-A highly organized and self-motivated individual who can take action with minimal direction.
-Ability to work directly with senior stakeholders.
-Experience working with creative agencies.
-Experience with GSuite

Top 3 Responsibilities:

  1. Event communications writing: write and develop long and short-form communications, including save-the-dates, invitations, and microsites related to client's Ads Marketing event. Work with internal teams to turn written copy into clickable, engaging sites and emails.
  2. Social media writing and editing: Assist the content activation lead in overseeing social copy from social agency and crafting comprehensive social activation plans for major events and publications.
  3. Paid media planning: Develop a paid media strategy for our social channels alongside our social agency and deliver weekly and quarterly reports to ensure progress toward goals.


Remaining Responsibilities:
-Creative agency collaboration: transform written copy into engaging, inspiring visuals with the help of a design agency or creative agency.
-Thought leadership writing: Write long-form speeches, op-eds, blog posts, and articles for client's executives on Ad product updates, new research, and more
