What you will do

• Write and edit product copy for company’s website while adhering to style and voice

• Continually enhance the customer experience by providing quality product content and applying SEO principles that drive product search and selection

How you will do it

• Interpret complex technical information to develop persuasive, highly impactful, benefit-driven copy that drives customer buying decisions

• Explore and analyze product information from various sources to craft product descriptions to enhance customer search and select process
• Ensure SEO principles are applied to online copy, including ads and individual product descriptions
• Create and maintain database of core enhanced product content for use across all channels
• Work with business partners, including catalog and online merchandising and product management, to identify marketing objectives and the strategies to implement them into effective product content

What you need to get there

3+ years of catalog, web, or other related professional copywriting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, journalism, English or communications-related field
• Excellent grammar and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of Stibo STEP and SharePoint a plus
• Must be detail-oriented, with the ability to work in a team atmosphere and manage simultaneous projects under tight deadlines, while maintaining high-quality work
• Must be proactive and demonstrate problem solving and analytical thinking
