Aquent's client, an American multinational technology company specializing in Internet-related services and products, is seeking a Copywriter for a 12–month assignment. This B2B Marketing team is looking for a part-time marketer with strong copywriting skills to spearhead marketing communications for our biggest events, including Brandcast and VidCon. Role Description: In this role, you will write copy for comms that need to inspire and engage marketers to attend our most important events, Brandcast and Vidcon. Event comms include save the dates, invitations, registration site headlines, etc. Additionally, in partnership with a designer or creative agency, you will oversee and project manage the development of the comms themselves, both e-mails and registration sites. Top 3 Daily Responsibilities: 1. Write copy for event comms that reflects brand voice and hits event messages. 2. Revise copy based on stakeholder feedback. 3. Direct creative agency to develop design of comms and site design. Required Qualifications: - BA/BS Degree (no specific field required) - 4+ years or experience copywriting - 2+ Experience as an account manager and / or copywriter at a creative agency (Or worked with a Creative Agency) - 2+ years of experience and proven ability to demonstrated a masterful storyteller, engaging the reader and communicating ideas clearly and concisely Nice to have’s: - Stellar writing skills [ability to translate marketing jargon into informal prose; internal messaging into external communications]. - Past experience applying YouTube style guide and voice - Experience as an account manager and / or copywriter at a creative agency
